Allele: nPl or PlPl
This gene causes a plumage of feathers on the rump, as well as a colour mutation involving unnatural tones. The Rump Plumage may come in any style, as can the Crest. The Crest, unlike the Rump Plume, is optional. Two Spatula feathers will always fall from the Rump Plume; these must exhibit all three colours, but can have any pattern and come vary slightly in shape.
Tipping should occur on all feathered areas, but can be minimal or major. This means the Rump Plume, Crest, and if applicable Wings should always have Tipping.
Streaks of colour in the horses mane and tail should also occur. Plume is a dominant mutation, and will overrule any other mutations.

Plume's display three colours on their Spatula feathers. There three tones can be any colour, but not black, white, or grey. Browns are also permitted. One colour should be chosen as the Primary Colour. This is the colour that will show in the horses eyes and tipping.
