More Otakon pictures! This one is just a close up of me at the Portal photoshoot on Saturday. (EVERYONE AT THE SHOOT WAS MADE OF AWESOME, BTW.)And yeah. This was my first ever cosplay. Yaaaayyy.
TO EVERYONE ASKING ABOUT MY HALFMASK: It's made out of florist foam, covered in wonderflex plastic, covered in gesso, sanded, painted and glossed. The light is actually just an electronic tea candle hot glued inside. I would make a tutorial, but I didn't take any pictures of it while I was making it. Sorry!

Portal 2 was an amazing game with an amazing ending song and amazing art, and THIS is an AMAZING GLaDOS cosplay!! It kind of brings me back to remember the MikuMikuDance model of GLaDOS, I love it!! ^^ Oh, you go to Otakon? I hope to attend once, and make a (most likely a cheap xD) Wheatley cosplay~

Yeah, I've been trying to work out the makings of a facial mask for a while now to improve my own cosplay of her. Just one question: where the frick do you buy electronic tea candles? XD

Thanks! Actually, I just got it off ebay for about $30. I don't remember the store, sorry. D: It was already curled, so I hardly had to style it at all. The night before, I just brushed each curl individually and blasted it with tons and tons of hairspray.

I think the mix between humain and machine (especially Glados's head) is very interresting. It highlights the original GLaDOS from the game, compared to some other cosplay.
