Description Zakuro stood up. He unsheathed a blade that seemed to come from nowhere. He jumped, and tried slashing the box in half. No luck. He sheathed the blade back.

"When did you have that?!" I asked, astonished.

"A true warrior always carries a blade." he said sincerely.

"Hmh, words to live by..." I pondered. "But where are we?!"

Zakuro opened a window. There was a thick forest behind us. He walked over to the other side, revealing a small roadway and another shack. "There..." he pointed. "We should see if anyone lives there."

We walked out of the house and heard the life of the Earth once more. Birds chirping, damp grass, cloudy skies, and an overall serene area. It was wonderful to be able to see the outside world again.

We walked across the small road toward the nearby shack. Up close it looked raggedy, old, and tampered. But someone could still hope to call it home.

Zakuro knocked on the door, blade handle in hand. An elderly man opened the door. "Hello there. I saw you two coming here." he smiled. "Welcome to my little home. I'd also like you to meet my grandson."

He guided us in the house. It was definitely comfortable, quiet, and homely. "I'd like you two to meet my grandson Apollo." the man smiled.

He was a boy that looked around our age. He had a tall build, was somewhat buff, and had a nice, open vibe. He had dark brown hair with a small quiff, peachy skin, and brown eyes.

"Hi." he said shyly. "And you are...?"

"I'm Adam, and this is my friend, Zakuro." I introduced.

"Welcome you two. My name is William Whiteren. Nice to meet you two." he smiled.

We both held in our breath. We were thinking the same exact thing.

I broke our silence. I saw Zakuro grasp his blade handle. "Do you happen to know... Luke Whiteren?" I choked.

"Oh! How could I ever forget my exceptional son!" he smiled. "How do you know him?"

"W-well..." I stuttered. "I'm actually..."

"His intern." Zakuro interrupted. "We both work for Mr. Whiteren sir."

"You do?" he smirked. "But my son was a Pokeuman, so how could you have possibly worked for him?"

We both jumped back a bit. Did he know? Could we trust him?

"A... What?" I lied.

"You two heard me." he laughed heartily.

"Grandpa, stop freaking them out." Apollo insisted. "We know very well who you two are. We saw your lifeless bodies being transported into that house. We know your problem because we share a burden."

Apollo took of a bracer he wore on his arm, while Mr. Whiteren took of a small ring on his finger. Their forms fluctuated and became Rotom Fan and Frost.

"Well? Don't look dumbfounded there Zakuro and Adam, we're here to help you." Apollo, now a Rotom-Fan said confidently.

I was about as frozen as that Rotom-Frost that might possibly be my long-lost grandfather, and my long-lost cousin. I had no reactions. Zak stared at me with a similar look. The both of us might as well be Psychic-Types our minds were in perfect tandem.

"What's the matter there Adam-sonny?" Mr. Whiteren asked.

"W-w-well..." I sighed.

"I'll tell." Zakuro upstood.

He told the story about Larry and the Fear Box.

"Ah I see..." Mr. Whiteren mused. "So you are...?"

"Your long-lost grandson. And Apollo's my long-lost cousin." I fessed.

"Hmph... Well... Then why are you...?" Apollo began.

"I'm not sure. It has something to do with the box though..." I thought out loud.

"Did you two see anything other than us?" Zakuro perked up.

"No, all we saw was the two of you being handled by some grunts. That's all." Mr. Whiteren clarified.

"Hmph... Well that doesn't help..." I pouted.

"Did you two have humanizing rings?" Apollo asked.

"Huma-what?" I asked.

"It makes you go back to human form. Like my bracelet, and Grandpa's ring." Apollo reassured.

"By the sound of it you two are clueless." Mr. Whiteren said.

"Well when you put it like that..." I sighed.

"I've heard, but never owned one." Zakuro said quickly.

"Well maybe they've strapped one on ya and you don't even know it." Apollo said.

"Could be true..." I wondered.

"Excuse me, Whiteren-san, where are we now?" Zakuro asked.

"Well we're in the silent woodlands of Canada of course! Where else would we be?" he said cheerily.

"WAIT WHAT?!" I jumped.

"Mr. Whiteren, you cannot be telling a truth. We were just in the States. New York to be exact." Zakuro reasoned.

"I'm pretty sure we know our home when we see it." Mr. Whiteren argued.

"AGH!" we both jumped.

"Uh, Gramps, that wasn't the right answer!" Apollo whispered loudly.

"Oh, um... You're always welcome to stay the night." he reassured.

We both got up. "Thanks you two..." I started.

"But we need to get back to Twist Valley." Zakuro finished.

"You young-uns aren't getting back there easily." he stopped us.

"Hm? And what makes you think that?" I snapped.

"Well first off, humans are usually annihilated on sight, and second off, you're just being directionless!" he argued.

"Hmph... Well played Whiteren-san." Zakuro sighed.

"So I'm guessing we're staying?" I assured.

"You must. We'll help you two out in the morning." Mr. Whiteren smiled.

I looked around. It was getting dark out already.

"The guest room's that way." Mr. Whiteren directed.

----------

"Apollo." Grandpa asked. Coming back from the guest room.

"Yes?" I answered.

"I want you to follow those two. I'm a little mistrusted with your father's ambitions. You need to follow them and confront him." Grandpa ordered.

"Well... Alright." I agreed.

I floated over to the bracelet that was on the table and put it back on. I was going to go out with the two. It would be an exciting experience I'd have. Something I can finally share with my brother.
