Description Another go at modelling, although I'm starting to get the hang of it, it's still very hard.

Do you have any tips for making textures look accurate on the surface without stretching or distorting? I use Blender instead of Maya, but any general tips on texturing would help quite a ton. I am manually trying to adjust it by using grid textures first but i feel like there must be a more efficient way. Maybe im not setting the seams right?

I try to make the UV map as good as possible, spend a lot of time manually spreading them out so there's little stretching as possible.
