Sounds right! I drive an old W124 Merc and it's almost 30 years old, but in good shape. Needs some work but nothing serious. They just keep on going!!

I had a supervisor that had one ,,,, black/brown int. Purchased new in '58. His was the "D" model. He kept the service up, oil change every 1,000 miles, fuel filters every 5,000. He was still driving it back in '78. It had (when I saw it last), 780,000+ miles on a factory motor.
