Yet another commission for the big red Talonblaze!This time I figured that doing linearts on photoshop was just bad, and tried to switch to Paint Tool SAI in the end
I feel the linework is a lot better in there, just gotta get the hang of it though.. XD BUT. I hope you like this!

That big red knows the right guy to make handsome dergs like himself look really neat and simply awesome! the flying pose is realyy natural and its cute with his paws and toes facing downwards, Love the lil background color too ^v^
I do the same too man i don't feel natural with Photoshop as my first step in progression, I like to ink, flat color, and lil details
on corel painter, then the details like shading, lighting, and others such to finish it off UvU

Yeah I knew there was something wrong with the lines I've done all this time with PS, just didnt feel right, but this is pretty much my first real try at SAI and I already see the difference, even thought there's a whole bunch of little mistakes here and there hah Still getting used to it, I wanted to only do lines but ended up doing everything else as well since I didnt know you could export the file as a psd... but now I know XD

Haha I attempted to ink over at photoshop, but I've already adjusted to Corel's work flow and I couldn't find any options to make any of the brushes ink perfect, hey if Sai is more comfortable with ink and color, which what I done so far, I give photoshop it's change to add extra details, very perfect and more better options from my point of view, lol I hadn't realized at first too X3

Yeahh I'll definitely figure out what I'm more comfortable with it, hopefully soon haha I'm sure photoshop has a lot more options when it comes to details~ I just get lost in the ammount of tools of SAI I dont even know where to begin when it comes down to color and stuff pfft XD I'll get there one day though!

I'm sure there are a lot of tutorials on Sai, photoshop and Sai is most recently art on their and has many others that can lend a hand, you will I know it >v<

Nice pose to draw him, it's quite cute and cool, and you drew very good all his features and details. The strong wings look realistic.
