Description May I introduce to you the twenty-two loves of my life of 2008-2009...
In order, from left to right:

First row:

Lady: 1989 bay Clydesdale x Quarter Horse mare.
Nemo: 1990 dark bay Canadian gelding.
Rambo: 1991 bay silver Shetland Pony gelding.
Nala: 1990 dappled palomino Appaloosa mare.
Zephyr: 1998 bay Quarter Horse gelding.
Sultan: 1989 chestnut Quarter Horse crossed gelding.
Benji: 1985 flaxen chestnut (or just greying chestnut) Paint Horse mare.
Azad: 1997 black Canadian mare.
Max: 1984 dark bay Thoroughbred x Standardbred x Trakehner gelding (Show name: Relax Max).
Tarzan: [?] dark bay Quarter Horse x Canadian gelding.
Baby: 1990 chestnut Westphalian x Thoroughbred mare (Registered name: Réflexion).

Second row:

El Cantaor: 1997 fleabitten grey ¾ Andalusian x ¼ Arabian gelding.
Flash: 1993 brown silver Belgian x Canadian gelding (Show name: Lethal Weapon).
Obélix: 1998 smoky black silver Canadian gelding.
Kyra: 2003 (?) bay Canadian x Quarter Horse (?) mare.
Casse-Noisette: 1987 chestnut Thoroughbred mare.
Dancer: 1986 dark bay Appendix Quarter Horse mare.
Picasso: 1997 chestnut Paso Fino crossed gelding.
Shanny: 1986 grey (?) Appaloosa mare.
Cosmos: 1986 dark bay Arabian gelding.
Sparky: [?] skewbald Paint Horse gelding.
Goya: 1998 buckskin Pony mare.

There were a couple more, but one got sold off to a nice stable, and the other was sold to what I'd call a meatman. x_x;;;

Also, I didn't photoshop any of these. No brightening, contrast-upping, sharpening, etc. They're just resized and cropped. Hence, why they're crappy-looking (will try to change that some day. I was lacking time and sanity.)

Okay. So, in my Equine Sciences program, these were the horses we rode, took care of in times of need, laughed with (and at), supported, grew with, learned from, practiced on, and of course, loved dearly. It'll be a shame to leave them behind as every one of us progresses in our future goals and careers.

This piece is far more personal and emotional than it is 'beautiful' or artsy or whatever.. so, no critiquing and whatnot.
