Just a little sketch I did of Mon-El, "Superboy's brother" from back when they redesigned his costume.I based it on a combo of the Superman Returns suit and Power Girl's.

Nice, but it does give off a Shazam feel to it. And it's my personal opinion to perfer his older outfit. It kind said "I am superhero, but you don't need to see all of my torso muscles to prove it."

Ha, I didn't see the Shazam connection until you pointed it out, but you are right. I too like his original costume really well, wearing a tunic with a cape and no chest-emblem is very original, and I like it a lot more than his current suit.

The Eblem I don't mind, but I did like the tunic better than the tights, making more like Superman Red. I think Ma could have done better.

Hmm, that's a good point. I wonder if that was their intent, making Mon-El basically Superman Red?
I've been thinking they should/could tie Nightwing and Flamebird's "red and blue" power in with Electric Superman Red and Blue.

Just like the the super-mullet never happened? Seems like the only thing from the 90's that actually "happened" was the Death and Return of Superman. But without the mullet, of course.
