if you don't support the mafia, don't.
as i said your art style is amazing and can copy himaruya's but adding a twist but i think you should keep hetalia out of the mafia.
your oc is pretty good, and it's not the worst i've seen, but i don't think you should contaminate malta with the mafia.

(( well thanks for the compliment on my art, but like I said, since this is a Human AU. It's my character as a human, not a representation of the country and therefore isn't having any association with Malta. The reason I wrote Malta on the art is because I'm so used to writing Malta when I draw her, I don't really do much AU stuff. That's why I was so eager to join my friends when they were doing it.
Also, there's a difference between drawing/reading/writing/etc. about something in the aspect of fiction, and condemning it in real life. Like I said, just because I drew this doesn't mean I approve of mafia activity. Just like if someone enjoys violent action films, that doesn't mean they enjoy suffering, or if someone enjoys reading novels about murder, it doesn't mean they enjoy murder. There's a separation between fiction and real life.

it's time spent on creating art about something you don't appreciate; like making nazi!berlin when you do not support naziism or imperial japanese tokyo when you do not support that era of history. Yes they have varying levels but they are generally the same thing.
i understand that you're not particularly keen on the mafia but maybe u should keep malta away from them for a while at least.

(( referring back to the examples I gave, people spend time reading/writing/making art on fictional scenarios/subjects they don't agree with all the time. But there's still the distinction between fiction and real life.
And let me reiterate yet again that because this is a Human AU, it is not the country of Malta, it is my character as a human, therefore I am not associating/incorporating Malta into this AU.

(( not sure why it's confusing. I did make her human. The mafia consists of humans?? Yes, they do horrible things, but that doesn't mean they're not people anymore? They're monsters, but not in a literal sense, because monsters are a fictional thing described asΒ "an imaginary creature that is typically large, ugly, and frightening." so the label of human wouldn't disappear. YouΒ can label someone as a monster, but that doesn't mean they're not a human anymore? They can be horrible, horrible humans, but they're still human. Just a horrible one.
and before there's more misunderstanding, this is in no way me defending the mafia, jesus christ I would never do that. I am just explaining why it's ridiculous that you're separating mafia and human into two different categories when the mafia still fall under the category of human, despite all the horrible things they've done. They're not a different species, they're a group of humans that do terrible things.
and again, we're not even talking about the real mafia, because this is fiction
