WheeeeNow I can finally introduce the (almost) finished Intro of ~COMET07 's and my Point&Click Adventure game Soundcheck (on which we're currently working. )
The game will be about two rabbit-like toons who gotta get their voices back which got stolen by a deaf wizard.
The amazing voice actors I got so far are:
as the Wizard
and as Chase, the blue rabbit.

We put A LOT of effort into the intro and the game, I hope you guys will like it. The first act will be done soon and hopefully available to play online then.

Nono, only the first act. It's not too long, but you already get an idea what it is about.
It's not completely silent. We have bg music and sound effects. Just no talking. ^^

The animation was a bit strange. Very nostalgic, though. Reminded me of games I played as a kid (which works well since this looks like it's designed as a kids' game). The lip sync is almost annoying because like you said it's for German but we're hearing it in English. Mild annoyance at worst, though.

It's inspired by the old school adventure games like Monkey Island, Day of the tentacle, Sam&Max etc.
It was originally planned to only dub it in German, that's why I oriented on the german lines while animating the mouth. Turned out that it's easier for me to find good english voice actors instead of german. But I didn't want to change the WHOLE mouth animations again, so I kept the german one. Too bad they are so different.

I used to LOVE point and clicks as a kid. Still do sometimes. My favorite was this game where you were trapped in a haunted mansion filled with monsters and you had to escape. I think it was called Monster Mash?

This intro is awesome Steff O: you have no idea how much I love it. I watched it over and over. The is sooo much detail holy crap. I cannot WAIT to play this game. I just love the cartoony style of it. The bg of the house is probably my favourite.
