I understand what she is trying to do here, and I would have done the same thing if I had believed the scissors would be able to cut anything. Which leads to the question, these two can't understand each other.
Which leads to the question I pondered earlier, where are we in the world?
My go to guess was Bangladesh due to all the litter, but this guy is too pale to be Bengali, which leads me to think that maybe we are in China instead, so I am guessing he speaks mandarin, and her language properly sounds a lot like dolphins, because if they could understand each other he could explain it to her.
I really hope they can learn to communicate better so she can get the tools needed to free her father, she seems like such a nice guy.
