Super Saiyan God VS Great Ape

Remember when I made that image for Dragon Ball Super Goku VS Dragon Ball GT Goku? Well some asshole on Reddit really didn't like it, and reposted it WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE and added some cat meme explaining why they didn't like the matchup. The meme didn't even make sense, it was just somebody's cat sleeping next to text. Was the cat reacting to the information, or was the cat the one giving the information? Anyway, in order to make this a more interesting matchup that wasn't too one-sided, I decided to look at this debate from a different angle. Really, it was just two different Goku's who each went down different paths. Alright. What about Xeno Goku from Dragon Ball Heroes versus Capsule Corp Goku from... Dragon Ball Heroes? That sounds like an interesting matchup that would work as an elevation of Super VS GT. Unfortunately, this was such a good idea that TOEI ALREADY DID IT! They even mentioned this fight in the recent rundown for Goku. CC Goku defeated Xeno Goku. So I was back to square one. I figured, if I couldn't pick two single continuities to pit against each other, I would break this matchup down to what it was really about. This wasn't about which Goku variant is the strongest, it was about which Goku super form is the strongest. Of course, we all know the answer to that, it's Ultra Instinct. For now, at least. But why DBS Goku VS DBGT Goku? Why not DBS Goku VS DBZ Movie Goku? Why? Because people wanna see Super Saiyan Blue Goku fight Super Saiyan 4 Goku.

This debate is almost as heated as Goku VS Superman and Gogeta VS Vegito. Heck, in the thumbnail for the latter Death Battle, they pit SSJ4 Gogeta against SSGSS Vegito. That was partially the inspiration for this. And like Gogeta VS Vegito, we're gonna look at every version of these specific powerups, from every continuity. There of course will be some ground rules. We will assume that each Goku has the same power level at base form, and knows the same techniques within reason. Yes, including the Dragon Fist. This way, we'll avoid having this debate be shot down with the argument that one Goku's base form is more powerful than the other Goku's base form. We're not arguing which Goku is stronger, we're arguing which Goku's multiplier is stronger. So if SSJ4 Xeno Goku can destroy 5 universes, but Base Form Xeno Goku can destroy 1 universe, we won't assume that SSJ4 lets everyone destroy 5 universes. We will also not be using any of the Ultra Instinct transformations for either Goku. The combatants will only be able to use transformations from the Super Saiyan God and Great Ape branches. Which transformations are those?

You may have noticed that I left out the original Super Saiyan God. That's because it requires a complex ritual with 5 other Saiyans to transform, and because Goku already has the power of Super Saiyan God incorporated into his base form. That's why he's able to go Super Saiyan Blue in the first place. I also left out certain variations of Super Saiyan Blue that can only be used by Vegeta or a fused form.
