Description This may be upsetting to Metroid fans, but I will not be using any new abilities from Metroid Dread. Samus' moveset is pretty good as it is. Just update some of the aesthetics, make her crawling animation the morph ball (since that was originally created to avoid having to make a crawling animation on the NES) and give her that cool new Power Suit, have her dash attack reference the Speed Booster power up, and maybe give her a taunt where she removes her helmet. Other than that, the only specials I'm changing are the neutral specials.

Custom Neutral Special
Ice Beam
 - The Ice Beam has less range and cannot be charged, but makes up for it by freezing opponents.
Wave Beam - The Wave Beam is the exact opposite, having much more horizontal and vertical range.

Custom Side Special
Relentless Missile
 - Missiles move much slower, granting the Homing Missiles more control and slowing the Super Missiles to a crawl after a while. They deal less damage.
Turbo Missile - Missiles move faster, but briefly stop to lock on to an opponent before flying forward. They also deal less damage.

Custom Up Special
Screw Rush
 - Deals more damage and moves more diagonally horizontal at the cost of less vertical distance.
Apex Screw Attack - A purely vertical leap that only damages at the beginning and end. Extremely powerful and can KO at mid-percentages, but has more startup and gives slightly less recovery distance.

Custom Down Special
Slip Bomb
 - Bombs cause opponents to trip but deal very little damage. Samus also falls slightly slower when used in the air and re-emerges closer to the bomb on the ground. Meteor smashes airborne opponents.
Mega Bomb - Explodes in a much larger blast after several seconds, limited to one on the stage at a time. Samus also falls slightly faster when used in the air. The bombs bounce on the ground when used in the air. Very little utility.

Custom Final Smash
Power Bomb - Samus deploys a Power Bomb. Seconds later, it detonates, covering the entire stage.
Self Destruct Sequence - This Final Smash is similar to Ridley's Plasma Scream. Samus charges forward with the Speed Booster. Anyone caught in this attack gets sent to Planet Zebes, moments before its destruction. Samus flies away on her ship as the planet explodes. Can you tell I love explosive attacks in fighting games?
