Description (Street Sharks VS My Hero Academia)

- Both were once regular folk (Jets Taylor and Kugo Sakamata) who were suddenly turned into tall and muscular anthropomorphic killer whales, and having obtained these powers, they soon became superheroes.

- Similar to how Moby Lick briefly debuted as a merciless villain, made and manipulated by the nefarious Dr. Paradigm (who specifically designed him to be the most evil of all his mutant minions) until he broke free from Paradigm's mind control serum, the first time we saw Sakamata was in another manga from the MHA author, Oumagadoki Zoo, where he was a heartless murderous bastard who killed whoever was useless to him, and taking into account Gang Orca playing a villain during a training session, both Moby Lick and Gang Orca have been seen as villains (the second-in-command to the main big bad, in fact) and heroes.

- Both are mainly melee combatants, relying on their brute strength to get the job done, alongside powerful ranged abilities befitting their nature as humanoid killer whales (Moby can shoot a jet of water out of his blowhole and Gang can produce hypersonic waves to paralyze his targets).

- Both of their designs feature tongues as prominent parts of their appearances (Moby Lick almost always has his tongue out due to that being greatly enhanced organ and Gang Orca's tie is made to look like a tongue).

- Both have ties to specific nature-based locations (Jets being the protector of the Everglades National Park and Kugo being the director of the Okuto Island Aquarium).

- Both are pretty hammy and loud (Jets' catchphrase "Gotta Jet" whenever he has to go somewhere speaks for itself, and Kugo is this with all of his training sessions, becoming a drill instructor caricature essentially).

- Despite their importance in their respective series (Moby is one of the Street Sharks' best friends and greatest allies and Gang is the 12th-highest ranked hero of Japan and always in the front line among heroes of his series), as fairly regular supporting characters they surprisingly don't make that many major appearances (not that many appearances overall in Moby's case).

- This is a rather minor connection but Gang Orca has a paralyzing power and Moby Lick has spent almost an entire episode of Street Sharks paralyzed.
