- Both are blonde-haired royals expunged from their homelands (Lordgenome sending Nia to die due to her asking about her origins & Euden being branded a traitor by the Other-possessed Aurelius).

- Both, following their exile, are left with only one companion from their homeland (Nia’s aide Old Coco & Euden’s Faerie friend Notte, following Zethia being taken by the Other), though everyone's unaware what said companion's purpose was at first (Old Coco being again, an aide & Notte being a way for Finlorda to keep tabs on Euden).

- Both were sent off by their fathers while not knowing their true/full intentions for sending them out (Nia being lured into a pod so Lordgenome can throw her out as she became too self-aware & Euden being sent to find a Sacred Shard to replace the failing one while Aurelius looked for one too, with the added motivation on finding a way to free Nedrick from Bahamut's control).

- Both got recast in their stories' dubs partway throughout them (Nia being recast after the timeskip & Euden being recast after Chapter 10).

- Both were initially seen as ordinary people to others until they revealed themselves of their royal heritage (The entirety of Team Dai-Gurren being unaware Nia was the daughter of the Spiral-King until she revealed herself while confronting Adianne & Elisanne being unaware Euden was the seventh scion at first until he told her).

- Both following their exile, find a new home in a group (Team Dai-Gurren & New Alberia) that they forge bonds with as they fight against the nation they were once proud of being a part of (Team Dai-Gurren by fighting Lordgenome’s Beastmen so Humans can live on the surface & New Alberia being Alberia’s successor following it being rebranded as the reformed Dyrenell), though after the 15th chapter of the story the two opposing sides are on friendly terms (The Beastmen living side by side with Humanity following the timeskip & Dyrenell under Emile’s rule ceasing to be a threat. ) (Barring the time they found Emile’s push for Public Education sus).

- Both were seen as the light to one or several more characters (Nia being the personal light to Simon when he was in his depressive phase follwing Kamina's death & Euden being the light to everyone who lived in New Alberia).

- Both have dead fathers, who in some way, manage to live on after their apparent deaths (Lordgenome being revived as a head for Team Dai-Gurren's use following his death 7 years prior & Aurelius having part of his soul be fused Zodiark following his death in Chapter 5).

- Both, at the end of the 15th chapter of their stories, resolve themselves in the face of a massive upheavel in their lives (Nia, in her own words, says she'll "head towards tomorrow" following her father's death & Euden resolving to find out who he exactly is following learning that he isn't the Seventh Scion as previously thought and losing Zethia again).

- Both are the youngest member of their royal families (Nia due to being the latest of Lordgenome’s many daughters & Euden, due to essentially being a clone of Nedrick [long story], is the youngest member of the Alberian Royal family), though while Nia’s sisters are all dead by the time she was made (except in the Manga), all of Euden’s siblings are alive at the start of his story.

- Both are eventually revealed to be linked to both the initial villain and the final villain (Nia being Lordgenome's daughter and an being Anti-Spiral Lifeform & Euden being made from Morsayati's flesh, who's a byproduct of Mordecai, who came from The Progenitor's discarded Heart).

- Both weren't even aware of their link to the final villain until their adulthood, with Nia only finding out right when she becomes the Anti-Spiral Messenger & Euden only finding out between Mordecai's Death and him and the Auspices facing off against Xenos).

- Both following a timeskip after the 15th chapter of their stories, find themselves at the center of uproar by the commonfolk, linked to them being controlled, though it was true in Nia's case while it was false in Euden's case (Nia's reveal and subsequent transformation into the Anti-Spiral Messenger causing riots all over Kamina City & The commoners of New Alberia mistakenly believing Euden was possessed by Morsayati due to information planted by Ciella, causing distrust in him and even a mob going after him).

- Both despite the DNA that was used in their creations belonging to a demonic inhuman villain, have some Human DNA inside of them (Nia, due to how the Anti-Spiral makes their messengers, has human DNA inside of her & Euden, despite the Other being classified as a demon, split off from the heart of the outright-Human Xenos).

- Both in a way, find themselves to be they key to being able to enter the final villains' world so they can be defeated (Nia due to her Wedding Ring allowing Team Dai-Gurren to reach the Anti-Spiral's Home Dimension & Euden, due to his link with Xenos, was able to enter his world when no others can so he can sever The Progenitor's link to the world).

- Both ultimately cease to be at the end of the story due to their link with the main villain (Nia being an Anti-Spiral lifeform & Euden's soul being linked to Xenos due to the faeirie magic used to bring him to life making his heart an extension of Morsayati, and thus Xenos' heart by proxy instead of Nedrick's heart as previously thought), though they're able to do one last thing before they fade away from the world (Nia marrying Simon & Euden using the Power of Creation to restore the Multiverse).

- Though ultimately, what truly becomes of them after their death differs, as Nia stays dead by the end of Gurren Lagann though is remembered by everyone who knew her, while Euden is revealed to have somehow came back at the tail-end of Dragalia Lost though is forgotten by all but one person who knew him.
