Congratulations on your holiday...please post some pics when you get back huh? I just came back from 3 weeks there (again). Get ready for some hot & rainy weather and remember to take a platic bag to cover your camera from the rain.

Hey, I took the same shot. Though, mine is a bit warmer cos of the time of day. I took it last trip, so it's not in my gallery... yet.
If you like Japan, take a look at my gallery for some current winter shots?
Loving the 'rotemburo' this week!!!

Wow, this photograph is really beautiful, the hues of green and neutral tones all compliment each other, and the composition is great! There just seems to be a little expanded lens distortion, nothing a little tweak in photoshop won't fix, but you can hardly tell. There's such a serene and peaceful atmosphere, it's beautiful. I'm going to this! Could I possibly analyse this photograph of yours for my photographic studies?

Thanks so much for your comment. I didn't know about lens distortion, so I googled it and snuck around Photoshop help...I had no idea the crop tool could change the perpective and I'm really grateful you pointed that out! (was that the tweak you were thinking of?) Go ahead and analyse this, I'd love to see what you have to say about it when you have finished.

Thank you very much! The lens distortion correction tool is located in Filters>Distort>Lens Correction, it just alters the perspective and convex/concave focusing of the photograph, it's a bit hard to use, I haven't quite mastered it myself.

Thanks again for letting me use your photograph for analysis!
