It's a bit of an odd console from the late 80s and early 90s, it was called the Turbografx 16 in the west. It's one of those weird goofy bits of video game history that never really broke big internationally. I think the cover art for the games are all really good though. They have a fund 80s and 90s anime aesthetic, almost every cover has a sweet mech, or cool knight on them.

Oooo yeah! For me, it's got that Dangaioh feeling. (yup, I'm that old... though, to be honest, I first seen it mid 90's.) Very nice job! Β

Thanks! Dangaioh is great, I think that it probably has the greatest anime opening of all time. I wasn't specifically looking at Dangaioh for this drawing, but I've definitely used it as a point of inspiration in the past.
