Description
This one was on a teeter totter of sorts. I was hesitant to upload this due to how heavy the topic it holds. But again, preservation is still something that I want to do.

It was in my first year in the Army. I was stationed in Germany for my first assignment, and I was far away from home. So I had no emotional support during that particular time. I didn't know at the time but yelling was a way to show compassion in uniform. But to get threatened with arrest for not showing the proper respect to an NCO seemed extreme when looking back. I think if it weren't for my fellow junior enlisted, I believe that I would have done something regrettable.

It was an interesting two years of a mixed hell. But then I was reassigned to an infantry unit afterwards, and that station was surprisingly a lot better.
