they were planning to, however there is no longer a compatible marsupial carnivore to carry the phetus and the DNA of the one thylacine phetus they had has now wittled away because it was accidently stored in the wrong chemical :/

I already read about that but I doubt that to be honest. I fear that a lot of the people who "saw" them were lying to get attention. :/ Scientists are trying to restore the genom of Thylacines, I hope they'll be successful.
