As some of you may know, foxes are one of the common themes in East Asian folktales. The names they're being called varies in different countries, although they do share some similarities between each other; for example, in many of these tales, the foxes are said to be immortal or have the ability to live hundreds of years, possess magical powers and have more than one tail. The foxes of Asian folklore are often capable to shapeshift too, usually into a beautiful woman.--

The pose looks great and I was reading once that shapeshifting is probably really painful to someone... You caught it on this picture, I can see it on the fox's eyes!
It feels me with desperation, thinking about the pain, but also holds my attention! Hehe

And yeah, sometimes you can see very painful looking transformations in movies, especially in horror films. I personally think that these kinds of brutal shapeshifts are more interesting and powerful to look at than the ones where people just... uh, start glowing and then magically change their form without any consequences. I don't know how the transforming of foxes happens in the Asian folktales though, hah

I can see the Asian foxes transforming in the middle of Flames... Bursting into flames and then coming out of it in a new form~
And yeah, glowy transformations can be boring... Just think that the whole body extract ure is changing, the bones, the muscles... It must hurt at least a little!

Reading your description, I am thinking Gumiho and the foxes from anime. :3 Though I do like your take on the whole transformation thing. Instead of just magically appearing to be a human, the process, one would imagine, very painful. .-. Nicely done. Loving your work even more and more. <3

Gumiho is a Korean drama about a woman, a fox demon in disguise, who fell in love and married a human man then had a child, but before the time was up, the woman and child had to flee home. :3 It's a really good show and it goes further than that.

I love the idea of this. East Asian folktales are always interesting. Actually, all sorts of folktales are interesting, hearing what other cultures developed as myths is just interesting. Especially when there's no clear start of it or reason for it, it just came up!
