I so love this couple 
It's definitely one of my favorites. It's pretty obvious Kagura fell for Sesshomaru and I'm sure he fell for her too (that's what I like to believe T_T)This picture was a bit difficult to make because both of their attires are very detailed. I like Kagura's hair better like this.

When I first read that chapter I couldn't believe my eyes and also couldn't believe that Rumiko Takahashi actually did that!!! After dropping the hints and after Kagura saying she wanted to be free throughout the whole series!!! She just wanted to be free *SNIFF*
Please draw more Sess/Kagura!!!!!! I tried looking for Sess/Kagu fics but there aren't many. *sigh*

aww! sure I can give you some tips, even tough I have a loooonnnggg way to go yet to be good at this, but well at least I can give you some tips about coloring which I feel a little bit more confident about.
I think it is very important to choose a good paper, mostly because I think that smooth paper makes really difficult to color nicely, so you can use a texturized paper, in my case I use canson.
As for the color itself I always start with a light base color pressuring the pencil only a bit, then I use bit of cotton to make it smoother. Then I go with the same color to start coloring the shadows, but pressuring a bit more and use the cotton again. After that I start to use darker colors to make shadow (I usually don't use the cotton anymore at this stage).
It's important that you get used to your colors, combine them and experiment how they mix together. For example for the girls's skin I always use pink colors or skin colors and for the shadows I put some purple in some places, that wouldn't have been a normal color choice for me, but after seeing the results I thought it went well together so I always use it that way now.
When you want to make the edges smoother you have to pressure less the pencil and then you can use the cotton again.
That's pretty much it, if you have some doubts you can always ask me, I really hope this would help you, in DA there are some tutorials wich explain more graphically what I just told you.
And remember, practice a lot!!
