Description UPDATE - 05/27/2020:
  • Fixed a rigging error on the sides of his head.

UPDATE - 05/21/2020:

  • Redid the model altogether to make better match the quality of my other Sonic models. It's now similar in functionalityΒ to Classic Sonic.

Master glider and Mighty's best friend. Ray is fully rigged and works with MMD motion and pose data. He has several facial morphs as well as physics for his tail.
This model comes with .fx files that can be used with MME to activate normal mapping on the model, as shown above. For more information, please see the included help file found in the model's folder.

This download includes models in the following formats: .pmx, .blend, .fbx
The non-MMD models may not work as intended.


I created this model by editing a model of Classic Sonic ripped from Sonic Generations by Apoc Hedgie.

Sonic the Hedgehog and all related characters, settings, objects, etc. belong to Sonic Team and SEGA.


This was done as a Chance Time raffle prize!

I first imported the model to Blender, and then exported the model from Blender using a plugin.

The Blender model should be rigged since it's an import of the .pmx model. If you don't see the rigging, it's likely just set to be invisible.

but when i haveΒ  fulll rigged model
i try to port it from c4d to blender and all the bones are fine

but when i port it from blender to pmxe all the bones go every where i mean all the bones become broken why?

That's hard to say. I recall having issues like that a while back, but I can't recall what I did to fix it. I haven't used any c4d models, so I can't say what the problem might be.
It might be a good idea to first export the models from Blender in a format like .dae or .fbx, then import the new model back into Blender.

But, in Archie Comics (before Sonic Mania Plus), he actually wearing blue shoes.

Say, That Classic Mighty model: he doesn't close his eyelid completely, he does like "doubt", just like the old model of Classic Sonic from Sonic the Fighters before you replace it (Which I still have one).
Do you think you could make an update for this model?

I've been trying for a good while to get that stage from Sonic Generations, but it's simply too big to port into MMD. It's so big, I can't even edit it without crashing PMXEditor.
