Anyway, he dies in the final battle of the book/manga (I'm working on both), and this is kind of a mind-thing that happens between him and Frost, his friend. Rex appears to him and he's faced away from him. Frost yells out to him and he turns like this, says that and waves, probably also saying something nice like "You were a great friend." or "remember me, okay?" or "Don't look so sad." Idk... argh!
And there's a memory montage and bla bla bla

Kind of sad. But touching, I guess. Except I haven't even reached the part where their characters get introduced -sweatdrop-
And yet they're my favorite!! D: D: D:

Anyway, yep. Rex is a sweetheart. Shame that I pull a J.K. Rowling and kill him off, really.....
