Is it just me, or is Nahkriin is Alduin's most loyal and trusted priest? Since he was ordered by his master to guard the portal in Skuldafn.

I found Nahkriin to be a little easier than Alduin. It's TSUN that is a problem.

Did you use disarm and steel fists perk?

Steel fists, legendary armor. Ebony. It was difficult but fun, did it in one try though.

Does tempering actually effect the damage attributed by the steel fists perk?

I'm not sure. It used not to, but at some point I think a patch changed it. Not sure it was that way when I fought Tsun, though. Still, at least ~40 damage per punch.

My first time fighting him, he would 2-shot me before I even saw his health go down from my attacks. I ended up using console commands to toggle god mode and beat him. But every character after that, I beat him legitimately.

Well, you can always buy all the destruction spells then open the console and type
