Many believe that it is incapable of feeling negative emotions, and that, because of its very nature, things like hatred or sorrow are unknown to Darlimon. Some researchers, however, claim that its empathy is so developed that such ideas can't be true. Instead, they say Darlimon channels every one of its bad thoughts into positivity, and then shares that positivity to make the world better. When sad, it will go out of its way to bring happiness to those around it, in turn comforting its own distress. Those are the qualities that make Darlimon a true optimist. When Darlimon shines with a soft pink light, all misery and strife disappear ("Kindred Soul").
