It is a good story (too bad I have not seen it yet); I would like to see a re-telling in sort of an alternate timeline in which Menma did not die and the effects that could have affected the gang.

It's my favorite right now. It's not an ecchi or any of that crap which is awesome. It's completely focused on character and story. and the characters and writing and everything is far above the usual anime.
