wow, I can't actually describe how much I love this picture, I mean the drama is so intense and the colours are beautiful and so so strong. How did you get such a stunning affect, because I've recently been practicing black and white photography too and would love to be able to acheive this style

The most important step for such an image is to create an auto exposure bracketing sequence of at least three (better five) photos. A HDR software like Photomatix or Nik HDR Efex Pro can compute a high dynamic range image of your AEB sequence now. HDR images have a lot more of contrast and details than standard photos which you can use now for that effect. Just convert the result to b/w and increase the contrast once again.
