Description
A pair of male Machairodus horribilis fight over territory. As they rise up onto their hind legs to do battle with their teeth and claws, they roar and snarl, tearing through the quiet of the morning. For each cat, this is a battle of the highest stakes; for the young male, this may be his chance to finally claim a territory of his own, while the dominant male has more to lose; if this battle goes ill, he will not only lose his territory, but also his cubs, the greatest hope for his bloodline to continue.
