  Bonus!!! Made a little sketch of the Panthera Spelaea, or Cave Lion’s, skull and I love it! Full disclosure, I have never drawn any sort of skeleton form before, so all things considered, I’m really happy with this. I also did some slight lighting adjustments to make the sketch look more 18th century, and I think its perfect.

  I was inspired to draw a prehistoric skull by BingyBongo ’s beautiful digital piece of a Smilodon Skull, and I wanted to give it a go too. At first, I wanted to make a Smilodon too, but i sadly quickly came to realize i had no space in my sketchbook for the teeth 🥲. So I improved and switched to my next fave prehistoric cat, the Cave lion.

(Fun Fact: the Cave Lion was excavated in 1810 by Georg A. Goldfuss)
