My drawing hand hurts like hell now! So do my eyes!BUT I AM TOO PROUD OF MYSELF TO CRY ABOUT IT!
Okay, this picture has the most insane story. Sort of. Okay, not really.
I was listening to "Heavenly Star" by Genki Rockets and got the idea for this picture after seeing an image in my head. Originally, I saw Kagamine Rin, but I couldn't find a cover using her voice. But still, I decided to draw her instead.
It didn't work.
I redrew Rin twice before deciding, "Oh hey, Miku's Append Heavenly Star sounds cool. I'll draw her instead."
Next thing I knew, I was looking up a million tutorials for how to make a nice starry sky and the firework-type thing. They were very helpful, and I love how the picture came out because of all the shiny-ness. I'm very proud of this picture
Gradient shading is still fun, yo.
