Here is another sketch from my moleskine. I'm having lots of fun with these.. I never really know what I'm going to do when I start and so stuff just sort of develops.___________________

Very nice. I want to give you advice. Dont use so much lines and dont give them that much weight especially for parts that do not overlap, try just toning the lips and contouring the facial assets with shadow gradients.
When you make highlit contour be sure to accent it by toning the outer space because otherway it looks like stroked area.Β
Please make this if you want. Trace the same image with very light lines Β and render it very carefully and patiently, take your brakes when get nervous. Then post it again and you'll see the difference.
Contour is very important but when used right, otherway it looks like unfinished coloring book.
I'm telling you all this because I love your style and I'm sure you drew this from mind which is not easy to do, but If you want to develop you have to try making every drawing better and "like it will be your last one"

So beautiful, I hope not to bother with this question, What is it your reference or inspiration to draw the details around the arm and hair (ornaments)? I ask this because I add more detail or originalΒ thinks to my drawings, but sometimes I find hard to do this, sorry for my eglish.

What size of mole skin did you use? Mine is about your size but the pages are very yellow, yours seem white not yellow. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using the large size.. the pages are a bit yellow as well, but I think it's just the lighting I took the picture in, makes it not look yellow. So I believe we have the same one.

Thanks, it's actually pencil. I was using a 2B led.. it comes out dark but smears too much. so I'm switching to HB.. and it's better with the smearing and still comes out dark enough.
