Description So I finally got around to taking my poison ivy "smell the flower" sketch [link] and turning it into proper pencils.. which I will then put in color The evolutions of a picture. I'm actually starting to work on peices that I'll eventually make prints out of.. so here's the first of many

This is unbelievable! So breathtaking!!! The detail of the all the leaves in incredible and her hair is so beautiful!! I adore her face too. Her eyes are so captivating and her lips are gorgeous! I just love your style!!! I was wondering, would you mind if I colored this? It is just too beautiful for me not to ask! If you say no, I'll completely understand. I just love this so much. It's perfection!!!

I agree with the comment below, you must keep a very sharp pencil

I still love the reaching arm on this one. Can't wait to see it in colour, Poison Ivy always looks brilliant in colour

Thanks.. well I'm just using mechanical pencils, a .03 and a .05. It helps keep the lines clean.. as well as a lot of erasing

Thanks, getting a bit better with it. I'm using a .03 and a .05 led pencil. I also switched to HB led as I was 2b before and it was making a mess.. heh!

I thought I'd just like the character - but the border itself really compliments the piece. Even her hair dovetails into the overall image. Extremely well thought out!

Thanks.. it's good to hear that the composition came out good. I really try to make sure that it's not just a pretty face, but the flow of the picture is there as well.
