Getting this thing finished has been driving me nuts! I started with a few picture refs of different animals I wanted to base this on, but no complete sketch or ref, and that might be making it more difficult than it needs to be. Generally it's a lot of new territory since I finished basic tutorials, like attacking a brick wall with my face. I will defeat you wall! En Garde!
