Chilled Air: She can change the temperature of the air to almost like ice. This does not have any effect other than to be spooky, to aid in making the atmosphere scarier. This is somewhat connected to her fire ability, she controls the heat in the room by removing it.
Fire Control: Being a spirit of a lantern, she can manipulate small amounts of flame dance and for other can trips. This fire can hurt someone if she's startled, however most of the time she controls the fire to not burn.
Intangible: At will she can make herself go through walls and other solid objects, although normally she likes to be tangible, if intimidated she will automatically turn on this ability.

Personal Information

Personality: Mitsuko appears elegant and conditioned to guests while still being a kind friend to her fellow employees off hours. She is mature and can be perceived as harsh when expressing herself. She revels in telling stories while specializing in the horror genre. She loves secrets however she will spill all of them to her most trusted friends. Mitsuko is an opportunist and is always trying to get high up in rank. Mitsuko is a lantern spirit thus being constantly worried about her flame. She does not enjoy being wet and will not take kindly to any water pranks. If wronged, she will hold a grudge however this can be easily cured with unusual sweets from different lands. She is easily startled when confronted with direct questions and will often stutter. Mitsuko is passionate and her love of men and woman prey badly upon this trait.

History: The lantern was crafted by an old samurai, he wanted to teach his students the value of honor and courage. He started a challenge of 100 horrible stories. He told his students that the most terrible beast will come out of the last light, the last lantern. He told them that only the most brave samurai could snuff out the last candle and summon the beast. He promptly told his students that none of them were ready for this test yet and put the lantern up in the attic. Like all unruly students, they found the lantern and started on their task. Many students tried and failed to snuff out the final flame, however, they still attracted a malicious ghost of a different kind. Mitsuko was a ghost of a Woman who was drowned in the lake, not to far from there. Mitsuko would watch the students try and try again, until a brave one came forth. Mitsuko couldn't let them down, if word got out that the game was fake then the training was for nothing. She used the hardened clay around her lake and made a horrible mask. Mitsuko waited till the brave samurai went to blow out the last light and once he took his breath in, he couldn't let it back out. She pulled the warmth from him and the room chilled. A new energy filled her, fear. She ate it, ingested all their fear and terror and it gave her a new sensation unlike any other. Alive, If you could feel fear then you felt alive yes? Reveled in this feeling, she indulged in it and needed more. Mitsuko reached out and grabbed the boy's throat and she squeezed, all the others screamed and escaped. When the one brave samurai soul was left, His terror was full and filled her. She took his life and giggled with an insane chime, she could get used to this.

After a long time of stealing the fear essence off of her victims, she grew tired of people taking her lantern and moving it to so many places; some tried to even destroy it. She overheard a couple talking about how their house was already haunted. Mitsuko went to go see her neighbor ghost and found a little girl, a zashiki child. The child explained how she was about to leave the house and go to a place she's overheard. A bathhouse for spirits who wanted to relax, or to work... This intrigued her and so she took her lantern and they traveled together. Mitsuko found that there are plenty of ways to feast on someone's fear, and that a story teller was a much better way to eat, and live bodies leave tips. however when entering the bath house she was told there were no more entertainer posistions availabel and was handed a workers uniform. Her ability to heat and cool things down became helpful in serving food.
