Entry 1 for the contest!

Contest was announced like, yesterday and I've already done my first entry...XD

Any who, the basic idea of the contest is to create a 'What-If' scenario featuring at least two characters from 'TotH'.

My chosen topic: What if Rose hadn't left Flash's herd?

I can very easily see Flash turning away from Francis as his heir if he was born small or sickly, and taking in Troy as his new successor. Comparing their sizes, Troy is bigger and probably a lot stronger than Francis. Plus what better way to send a 'f*ck you' to Darko than by stealing his son?

Troy is raised knowing that he is not Flash's biological son, but is too busy being spoiled and trained by the herd's leader to care.

Meanwhile Rose is now a prisoner in the herd and is kept under constant surveillance by Ace, who is none too pleased with the job. She can only watch as Flash turns her son into a cold-hearted stallion like himself and forever regret not running away when she had the chance.

Violet would probably not protest against Flash's decisions too much, but rather watches bitterly from the distance while at the same time trying to raise Francis by herself. Francis, at his young age, does not understand why his father spends so much time with someone else's foal instead of his own.

I was originally going to have Rose look thinner and dirtier, but Troy would probably be aware that Rose is his mother, so Flash keeps her healthy to ensure his cooperation and loyalty.
