The Image
I saw the horse and had an idea, which I just HAD to make work. I tried to find the PERFECT rock, it wasn't quite out there but this one was close. The original background was way to busy though so I replaced it withthe two different rock pictures as if to put the horse in a canyon. I blended them all together, and I think I did it pretty well, one of the light sources is a bit off, but it's hardly noticeable in the dark. Ths image was originally light, but I didn't like the red tones so I put in a blue overlay and fell in love. This is also the second mane and tail paint with the tablet. I was going for more straight instead of curly this time. It's not to bad. I still need to find some better techniques and such for doing so. I remembered a shadow too! not quite so thrilled about it though. I couldn't find any suitable text So I decided to upload it textless, but the Quote above sums it up for now.

My God Sabby this is AMAZING!!!! This is just stunning. You blended the images so well together it looks so perfect like he is standing right on the rock. I think I'll have to wait until I get to your recent stuff, but I think this is one of the best you've ever done

Awww thanks, I love it too. The horse was perfect for that position, acctually the horse is what gave me the idea :] And that pretty much is my recent stuff, lol. But I think it's definately one of my best, glad to have it confirmed.

Thanks for the suggestion maatie dear, know any good smudging tuts? PSP compatible though, i can't figure out how to get those nice dot brushes that make flowy stuff to work in PSP -shoots PSP- I knew I shoulda just got PS -sigh-

haha, no I paid for my PSP, and so now I'm going to have to use it. I kinda really want the new new PS though, my cousin got CS3 for college for only 300 bucks last year. If only I was already there....
