Long before Natasha was born, Russia's Region....Refered to as Angel I D'yaval...was ruled by two opposing forces. A Nun, and a "Bobak" (Russian/Slavik Demon).

The Nun was very devoted to her work for the lord, never straying and doing whatever she could to cure the poison off of dark-type pokemon or any normal-types that had become corrupted by a demon. In history, her human memory would be recorded as Agnessa Kozlov. Agnessa was much beloved by the people, and she did her best to live up to their expectations. She could read, write, and did her best to help the priests and did a ton of charity work....even exorcisms on Ghost-type pokèmon infestations in homes.

There was something she had not accounted for, however. And that was her own lonely heart. So she prayed to the deity, to give her a sign he could hear her...to show her what her purpose was. And that was when she befell an awful trick.....a Lesser Bobak that took the form of a White Dog, transformed into a young man...and took the name of a VERY famous Saint, Sergei. Sergei cast an Enchantment on Agnessa, convincing her that she would love him anytime she looked at him...regardless of if he was in his true form or not. At first he felt it was a joke, but over time he fell desperately in love with her, and refused to let her go. Whispering constantly into her ear.

Agnessa believed he was a saint, and thus fell in love rather easily. Her kind heart did not know betrayal or trickery such as this, as she believed her devotion to faith could protect her from everything. The longer she spoke with Sergei, the more she felt at peace knowing that her deity approved of her being with such a man. It only took a few years for the idea of Marriage to be proposed, which she naively agreed to....and less than a year after that, taking her purity to conceive a child. The only reason she didn't fight against the idea of having a child, was because the spell over her mind had her believing that this child....could be the new Christ walking on earth. It only took 3 tries to conceive Natasha, and when she became pregnant...her eyes were opened to Sergei's true identity, and Agnessa immediately divorced him and separated from him...hiding within the church. As much as she hated being tricked, she could not bring herself to hate Sergei.....and the good news was, Natasha carried no traits of Demonic power aside from her odd fascination with fabric.

Due to this separation, the Region became weaker to attacks. And the dark magical storm cloud covered the slavic lands, giving Dark-type and Ghost-type Pokemon a lot more power. Agnessa gave birth to Natasha during a massive lightning storm, which was rather odd but still cool. Agnessa got to spend 3 months with Natasha before she was hit with the curse that affected all Ancient Regions.....and she was transformed into a Giant beast, a Massive Bear with a cross on its forehead.

Natasha would be taken by ancient Russia and eventually raised with Russia himself as a brother figure to her.

and Agnessa would be known as "AngelMed" ...or "Angel Bear"
