oh i'm just um naturally inclined towards plants haha.
i just think that something softer that the wood but bright enougth that both hands stood out could have worked. such as grass. but thats just my porogitive lol the pictures brillient as it is.
there are those who still dont believe in equality, but thats wrongeven if you dont believe in equality you should believe in respect

although I think it would of been a stronger shot if the white skin was whiter and the black, blacker,
also I think the background kind of takes a way abit from the picture, because it kinda blends with the hands, so I would have gone with a very clear background.

the background was chosen sooo spontaneous im sorry... we were just hanging around and had this idea and we just had to do it NOW
i know its not perfect, but maybe a white background would have taken the atmosphere... (just maybe we will never know hihi)

Als ich das Bild zum ersten Mal gesehen hab, dachte ich wirklich nur: "Wow." Das ist so ein tolles, ausdrucksstarkes Bild! Die Idee ist zwar nicht neu, aber die fotografische Umsetzung ist ziemlich gut. Was ich aber bemΓ€ngeln mΓΆchte ist:
- Der Ring an der weiΓen Hand - hat der irgendeine tiefere Bedeutung? Irgendwie hΓ€tt ichs besser gefunden, wenn die HΓ€nde ganz "rein", also "pure" quasi auf dem Bild zu sehen gewesen wΓ€ren... wenn du verstehst, was ich meine e.deviantart.com/emoticons/w/wβ¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
- Diese fleckige Bearbeitung.. da muss ich meinem "Vorkritiker" zustimmen, irgendwie machts das Bild zu dreckig.

This piece caught my eye, not simply from the subject matter but the strong contrasts within the piece. The amplified dodge/burn toning perhaps counters the idea of unity, but I feel this is resolved through the use of feminine and masculine(?) identities and the interlinked pose.
The picture quality itself makes the image feel older (which the white signature overpowers), of an idea that is relatively modern, sad to say. The use of textured bordering however reflects the fragility and depth of what makes us human, when it is placed in juxtapose with the textured of the skin.

"skin doesn't matter" by suicide-bee can be one of the deviations that will mean a lot to me, as the person I love is black and I am white.
Negative, yea I do start with the negative stuff every time.
- Maybe try to let it look modern, instead of old, but that could just be a tryout, nothing really bad about the old look.
- I don't like your signature too much, a simply black typography saying SC Photography in black with a white stroke would be enough and not too eye catchy e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Positive, (Yay, tell me the positive stuff!)
+ Means a lot to many people.
+ Has a really good...well..the quality is still very good even if the image looks old.
+ If the black hand had the same ring on a finger like the white hand, it could show unity.
