Personality:

Chryssa is naturally very outgoing and likes to cheer her friends up by trying to make them smile.

Because the Order is a foreign place for her, she barely shows this beheaviour. She only shows it when she feels comfortable.

Which she is mostly around Lenalee. Chryssa cares about her friends and can't stand to see them unhappy. She will try to comfort them the best she can.

Chryssa follows rules given to her and listens to almost every order, unless it is pure nonsense. In the first time at the Order, she would do nothing if she wasn't told anything. She only talked when she was asked something.

She was very scared being at the Order because she was all alone with people she didn't know at all. Chryssa is unsure about her abilities with her Innocence and often doubts that she will ever be able to fight Akumas. But seeing Lenalee being a very skilled exorcist when she has had a past similar to hers, she is somewhat ambitious to become a good exorcist herself.

She tries to get the doubts out of her head everytime she has them.

When she is put under pressure she has a hard time deciding things and keeping a cool head to think, thus she can't go on missions alone yet even if her training was finished. She is unused to the situation of being an exorcist and

Relationships:

Allen

Simply friends. She likes his hair color, she has never seen entirely white hair before. When they first met she asked him if he was old because she only knew grey hair from old people.

Lenalee

She is like a big sister to Chryssa. Both of them have been taken to the Order against their will because they were compatible with Innocence. So Lenalee can put herself in Chryssa's situation pretty well and understands her the best.

Komui

She thinks he's funny and she would like to have such a caring brother, too. Even though Lenalee always tells her Komui can be a bit too caring. She also likes the Komurins.

Kanda

Even though Kanda is a prick, she looks up to him as an exorcist. She admires his strength, his willpower and his capability. She doesn't talk to him though. Mainly because Allen has told her he is not very nice. So she is a little afraid of talking to him.

Crowley

She actually finds him sympathic but is scared of him when he has his Innocence activated.

She thinks he looks scary.

Miranda

She likes her, but sometimes thinks she is scary.

Lavi

Chryssa once called him a pirate because of his eye patch. She likes him though.

The Noahs

She doesn't know them but will most likely consider them enemies if they ever meet.

When activated the Innocence creates two gears on her leg that are turning constantly.

The bigger one is around her ankle the second smaller one is interlocked with it on the left side.

Smashing Gear

The smaller one of the gears loosens and can be swung around to crash into the enemy. The two gears are still connected by a chain

Chain Wrap

Using this ability, Chryssa can save herself from falling. The chain wraps around things in her environment (like trees or chimneys) and then pull her up.

This ability can also be used to immobilize Akumas by wrapping the chain around them. Chryssa can also pull them down on the ground with the Innocence.

Gear Disc

The innocence creates a few small rotating gears that can be launched in a certain direction with a kicking movement.

History:

Chryssa was born in Greece, in a town near Athen. Her father Dimitris is a shepherd, her mother Elene is a seamstress. Unknown to her or her parents, she was born with a shard of Innocence in her left ankle. She was not able to move her ankle and because of that could hardly walk without a crutch. She had problems with walking and was very slow if she tried to.

Most of her time she would spend together with her father on the fields where he lets his sheep graze. When one of the sheeps got hurt Chryssa would care for it. She also liked to take care of the lambs. At times she would also try to help her mother with her work, but she could not get herself to like her mother's work.

When Chryssa was twelve a horde of Akuma attacked the town where they lived. They were previously in Athen and a group of exorcists attacked them and a few Akumas managed to escape.

The exorcists that attacked them also arrived there just shortly after the Akumas. They killed almost all of them, but three Akumas escaped again. When passing near the fields where Dimitris and Chryssa were, one the Akumas stopped and tried to attack them. Chryssa's father panicked and wanted to flee but then remembered that Chryssa can hardly move on her own. He turned around only to see her laying on the ground confronted by the Akuma. He tried to run toward her to save her. Just before the Akuma attacked, Chryssa's left leg started moving on its own.

Her Innocence awakened and it attacked the Akuma and destroyed it. Dimitries ran to Chryssa, asked her if she was okay. Chryssa was a little shaken but other than that completly fine. The group of exorcists that has been following the horde of Akumas arrived there. A major part of the group began to chase the last two of the Akumas to prevent them from attacking another village. Two of them stayed with Chryssa and her father.

They said that they needed to take Chryssa with them, because of her Innocence. Chryssa and her father both objected to that. The exorcists said that they had no other choice, it is their duty to protect people from Akumas but also to collect the remaining shards of Innocence. Chryssa was allowed to go home once again to say goodbye to her mother but then she would have to go with them to the Dark Order.

Chryssa was scared to leave her parents, she was scared to be at a place she did not know, full of people she did not know either. She was constantly shaking with fear and near tears.

When Lenalee learned that there was a young girl that was forcefully taken to the order because she had an Innocence shard, she felt reminded of herself. She knew how Chryssa must feel because she had endured the same fear, only that she had Komui with her at some point. Chryssa had no one.

Lenalee tried to comfort Chryssa so she doesn't feel alone.

When Chryssa had her first training lesson, she did not do well. She was still scared but mostly was insecure about her abilities. When time went on she became better, she learned how to use her Innocence and developed some abilities to use, either to save and protect herself of to attack Akumas. She also got more comfortable with living at the Dark Order.

She still misses her home town, her parents and her sheep. But she has found some friends at the Order. Her traing has been going on for about 2 years now, she has been trained at the Order the entire time, because all of the Generals already had exorcists they needed to train. Her training is in the last phase. She has enough skills to fight in theory but still has never killed an actual Akuma except the one she killed when her Innocence awoke. Currently she is prepared to accompany more skilled exorcists to missions to learn what to do. Because she is by no means ready to go on missions alone.
