I wanted to draw my Octoling OC in the gear the Octolings wear in the game. Some artistic liberties were taken, of course.I also thought of a name for him since I got no suggestions: Caspian, named after the Caspian Sea (which used to be called White Sea by the Khazars)

Did you hear that dataminers found code for something called "OctBoy" in Splatoon 2? That would suggest they were going to have separate gender options for the Octolings, as if they were playable characters. Of course it doesn't confirm they're really going to do it, but one can hope :')

I really hope they include playable Octolings in the future, maybe via DLC or in a hypothetical Splatoon 3. They don't even need to have special abilities or something, just having the cosmetic choice there would be really neat!
