I like this. It is clean with minimal lines but shows depth and significant detail, something I havent managed to get better at yet, plus it has personality so avoids that generic ho-hum trap.
Do you start by drawing circles and ovals with hash marks then place the features or do you just draw the figure?

Yeah I start with a circle for the head and ear, then I put the line for the eye but the yeah I don't really need construction line for the body, I just draw the figure
