the shore almost looks like a crack, total separation. thats interesting considering the oneness and fluidity of the sand to water. but i dig the look

i wonder if the foam is casting a shadow to give that cliff like effect or if there is actually a small ledge.

Explain this picture please. It looks very surreal. Where is this exactly? The Bahamas? Is this cliff or actual ground that looks like cliff sort of with water but I can't tell what the perspective of this. For starters: Where is this located? What did you do to make this picture?

What a weird effect in this photo. I couldn't see it correctly, the shadow the foam casts was to my eye at first a very sharp edge in the ground, like the edge of a cliff and the waterline a few inches below that edge, lapping against the cliff. The footsteps were bulges in the sand, not hollowed out. Took me a few seconds to adjust the eyes to the scene since I knew that this couldn't be what I was looking at. Very odd effect indeed.
