Clockwise: Son Goku, Sha Gojyo, Genjyo Sanzo & Cho Hakkai from the series Gensomaden Saiyuki (based on Journey to the West).None of them got it right...even though there's a SIGN
Poor Hakkai...I can't draw tyres......
Maybe I should pray to the Michelin God..... 
I've been wanting to do some Saiyuki chibis but of course, I have never drawn Minekura-sama's characters before... So what better way to get acquainted with their design than to do some fanart?
Reference used of course. The original image was done by Minekura-sama. You know.... In a way, the reason they are pointing in different directions is symbolic of their different characters. Hakkai is usually the mediator and the voice of reason (that's why he must be so embarassed at them), Goku is innocent, kind, loyal, brave but simple-minded; Gojyo is compassionate, a womaniser and funny; and Sanzo...is... well... Sanzo

I used a reference, so Minekura should take the credit for the idea. But I'm actually quite happy that I did manage to capture them and their expressions well... except the jeep... my jeep sucks
