Is it really that simple after your loving father was killed before your eyes because it was your idea to leave home?
And when a practically newborn baby was taken and your group leader who had been very kind to you and even taken you on to teach/train you had technically died (Rose lost a life if I remember right and would be dead if she didn’t have multiple) because YOU let a murderer into the camp believing their lies without being the least bit suspicious of their true motives?
You really think it’s actually so easy, especially when you’re still a child yourself (even in cat years she is still very much a child, I wanna early teens or pre-teen? Still plenty young enough to be a child.)?
Cant imagine how much guilt is eating at her right now ESPECIALLY since the other members of the clan either have given her accusatory comments and Rose straight up laid into her after the battle (which she kinda needed to be scolded so it WAS deserved but she probably could have done it in a less... idk she could have done it differently. Rose’s heavy negative feelings about Secret and her group though probably clouded her judgement so I can’t completely fault her for it.)
Sorry if this came off as rude but I felt like her situation should be understood a bit more as to why her character is going in the direction it is. I personally find her relatively well written so far, and certainly better than about 90% of the canon warrior cat characters.
