She does have such a nice design, but their's no reason for her to be an alicorn other than to sell toys to little girls. Such a shame a really. (especially if you go with the book that says Cadence isn't even biologically an Alicorn)

Idk, in my opinion, I think having her as an alicorn might have some controversy of whether or not she will be a princess, that might make season 6 more interesting. I see what you mean though, they've already started making toys.

Why wouldn't she be a princess? I mean, her mother is a Princess, her father is a Prince, so....I don't see why she wouldn't be a princess by default.Β

A small correction:Β Her father is a prince-consort, not a prince.Β The difference being that the former title only exists as a consequence of his marriage, and you do not omit the -consort part with a man[1] the way you do with a woman.
[1] Prince Philip is a prince in his own right rather than a prince-consort.
