Bio:

She is the Daughter to Mark James, a rich man who owns many companies around the world. She came to Third Street School The summer before TJ and the gang joined the 5th grade. Before She was always in a Boarding School in England and has returned to America to be later engaged, as a family tradition to Alkare VonDogh her furture husband. Mara despises this very muchly. She befriends TJ and the gang turning the first couple months at Third Street and becomes very close friends with Mikey Blumberg.
When she first arrived everyboy in school had a crush on her even TJ and Vince. The boys would crowd around her at Recess asking her questions and coplimenting her, Because Mara is Shy and frightened easily by nature she gets scared of the situation. Mikey was the only one who didnt bother her this way and was the one who put an end to the problem. At first glance Mara Was scared till Mikey spoke to her for the first time and told her everything was going to be alright she felt content and safe by Mikey's Side. Now Mara and Mikey and rarely apart at School nor is TJ and the gang rarely apart from them.
Her best friend,girl wise, is Getchin Gurndler(sp?). Speinelli(Sp?) at first dosnt like Mara but later gets to know her better and changes her opinion about her being a rich no good snob.
By the 6th grade Mikey and Mara's relationship grows and they start to have feelings for one another(although thru the 5th grade is was plain to see that Mikey was madly inlove with Mara to begin with and so was she)
Mara's Mother and Father,especially her Father are very interested and want to meet this "Wonderful friend" of hers so they invite the Blumbergs for dinner. It is then Mikey and his family learn of Mara's Unfair future. Mara was so mad that her father would metion her engagment that she stood up from the table demanding he changed the subject, but Mikey could see by one fowl look in her fathers eyes was enough to make Mara sit back down and bow her head in shame for doing such a thing, at this time Mikey placed his hand on her knee and she held his back. The next day Mikey shows up at her house and asks to see Mara. He gets escorted to her room where he gives her a beautiful silver locket that his mom gave him on his 10th birthday and told him "To give this locket to the one her cared and loved the most." THe locket not only held a picture of Both Mara and Mikey it also played music, it was then Mara recived her first Kiss from a boy.
