(Cool when I switched tabs the entire description deleted itself)Anyway howdy guys, I'm still alive! So here's a cute lil weirdo. Did I mention that I hate drawing fences? Because I do. Also the picture in the background is mine but like, you probably already figured, but I had to edit a very modern stop sign out of it.
I think Essie is supposed to be a little younger here? I mean I only give her younger self the really round eyes instead of the oval-shaped ones, so this would probably be either when she was still with her parents or perhaps when she was wearing her *VERY* best at the orphanage. Idk I just thought it looked cute.

I like that this picture is in colour because it says "Happier Days". Most of your art is in black and white and the impression I get from your characters is that they don't have happy lives (I'm not familiar with your comics you see), so to see something called "Happier Days" and in colour fits.

Yeah... most of my characters have been through hell and if you do decide to read the comic be aware that it gets pretty dark in the later chapters... I wasn't actually thinking on the whole color thing when I made this (I named it after I made it bc I thought it looked a bit retro/vintage with the grainy quality and all that), but that's actually a really cool interpretation!
