Wanted to do some more bloody stuff just because. Vent art? Possibly.What with my mom having bilateral pneumonia, my grandparents being in a car crash, my girlfriend being sick, an old friend of mine having a stroke, and myself nearly being knocked into oblivion by some uncaring redneck in a souped up truck, I guess I needed to let off a bit of steam.
I could go on about how the week is out to get me and everyone I love, but it wouldn't solve anything.
I'm not sure why I titled it this way. Did Essie hurt somebody? Did she rip her own eye out with those pliers? Not sure. All I know is that you don't have to worry, because it's not canon.

And... Yeah, I'll be alright. I'm trying to get a doctor's appointment. (It's Sunday here, so nothing's open)
I love that I was told I complained too much by my coworkers despite only mentioning that I wished I could use my inhaler more than once every 12 hours ;-;
Like... they should try coming in with a fever and possible pneumonia and try not to complain lol.
But you have to be considered half dead to be 'sick' to my company... my boss was there until she was in so much pain that a mf AMBULANCE had to be called and take her away, and now she's even debating whether to even get the surgery she needs because she'd have to miss work for it.
I last called out in April, but I'm afraid of loosing my job if I don't go today, even though I can't breathe at all.
But she's over payroll, so maybe it can be excused?

Please, for your own health, don't go to work. (even though i know what you're going through, it's pretty cold around here already and the weather is constantly switching between hot/cold and my asthma is killing me, meaning i also have breathing problems atm but not heavy ones-- but i didnt go to work yesterday because i have to lift heavy things and shit, and im pretty much useless now, so it's either that or me not attending work yesterday, so i chose the second option.)

It turns out I CAN'T call out. As in, I'm not allowed to. Because there's literally nobody else who can come in.
...Like half the stuff I have to do involves heavy lifting and handling food. The other half consists of interacting with the customers. A lot of them have babies. I'm going to end up putting BABIES in the hospital most likely, all because we don't have anyone else to come in.
...Not to mention I'm afraid to end up getting fired if I go to the hospital.. or if an ambulance has to come for me because I can't even get up the stairs without going into a coughing fit and vomiting while trying to catch my breath.
But I complain too much, lol.
Yeah honestly I love those guys but they have no idea that nineteen year old girls can have health problems too.

It's not so much MY boss as HER boss, the DM. I work at a dollar store in a small town. The thing is we lost like... 4 people over the course of the last 3 months. One transferred to another store, one quit unexpectedly from another state, and two were fired (no call no show, and a thief respectively). She's super nice... brings us in food and stuff, even took me to the fair once.
Our DM, though? Not so much. Made us stay open on a snowstorm that was SO bad half the town lost power. I was helping a customer shove their car out of the parking lot so they could go home, and I had to do the same for my coworker the same day.

Unfortunately I think I'm catching my mom's illness now too ;-; but I literally can't afford to miss work, I need all the hours I can get... So if I have to deal with prissy customers while having a fever of 105(f) expect my art to get a bit... strange...

Thanks! With luck I can work mainly on totes since I'm in at 2:30, which means I narrowly miss the two biggest saturday rushes (11 am and 2 pm)... At least I grew up in this town so I know most of the people who come through.
And my boss knows that everyone is sick, so she'll likely understand why I'm a bit slower at work than usual.
At least I'll have Monday and Tuesday off!
