Description
I finally got a design for Alice Black (KEEP IN MIND THIS IS NOT A FINAL DESIGN FOR HER, THOUGH). Remember her? She's been mentioned in a few drawings of Sonia. She's the younger kid Sonia has a slight obsession with, and unbeknownst to her, Alice uses it to her advantage. She uses Sonia's willingness to do anything for her to keep herself out of Doctor Platz's abusive clutches. While she does care somewhat for Sonia, at the least as a friend, her manipulative and sneaky manners make it hard to see, and even harder to articulate.
I have not decided whether Alice dies at the end of the story or not. She is 8-11 years old (can't remember which) and has a history of compulsive lying, kleptomania and violent outbursts. Sonia is a very underdeveloped, mentally ill and malnourished 14 year old.

Towards the beginning of the story, Alice only dressed in pure white or pure black outfits due to both being young and being in mourning. Gradually she moved on to just dark colors, and now she can wear what she wants as the mourning period is over.

"Alice Black?" the doctor said, his face seeming to perk up at her mention, "There's a pretty one, if strange. Raven hair, albeit short. A fat and healthy face, but all skin and bones about the body. She seems as fragile of body as she is of mind. You know, Sonia..."
Sonia looked up from her seat on the bed, blood still steadily dripping onto her sheets from her mouth. How was this maniac a doctor, a therapist? How? Who was letting him care for children?! Her jaw ached from the rough punch across the face she'd gotten minutes earlier.
"What?" she breathed with an audible rasp.
Platz laughed.
"You know, Sonia," he continued at length, "Miss Bancroft, Alice would make a nice replacement for you someday, if you don't obey."
