During the celebration of a glorious Imperial parade for christening in a new planet into the Jall Sub-Sector, a massive unprovoked pre-emptive strike by Craftworld Maek'heil decimated most of the Imperial army on the planet. The Lord Commissar retreated in desperation with the survivors scrambling out of the city.

A certain officer was too busy impressing girls in an underground establishment with his parade uniform and thus was left behind.
